Here is a little known connection between me and the soap opera Coronation Street...? Before you ask, no I have not appeared in it... Though I can't see why not, with my chizzeled features, those devilishly good looks that are as dashing as a Hollywood matinee film idol. So it beats me why they have not asked me as yet..? Probably maybe because I can act..!The little know conection is that Coronation Street hit the screens in 1961, while at the same time somewhere in a nursing home located in darkest Harborne, the midwife was slapping my back side and my first cries bawled out letting the world know I had arrived. Like the soap opera my life over the 40 and a bit  years has had similar plots and storylines. It has had its moments of laughter and tears - there have been twists and turns - happiness and sorrow - success and tragedy. There have been heart stopping moments and there has been pathos. In lifes great game of poker it has dealt good and bad hands, and not forgetting those occasional srcapes. The story still continues though, which I hope I can share with you all and my friends who have always been a fundamental part of this 40 odd year journey, and still continue to do so........Well to my corner of the web.....
